We got slapped by a storm last night that coated our neighborhood with at least an inch of ice. Don't think we've ever seen anything like it. Mercer waited until lunch to venture outside and by that time the ice was slushing up a little bit. Can't wait until tomorrow when all this standing water becomes an ice rink again.Mercer put together an interesting outfit for his excursion. He's in his PJ's, yellow rubbers, snow coat, mittens, and hat.
That's a sheet of ice underneath Mercer.
Oh, did we mention he wasn't wearing any socks?
Don't know what he's trying to do here. This is just a losing battle.
