Mercer has gotten himself into the habit of saying "That's mines" with an -s on the end to make it possessive. It kind of makes sense when you think of all the other possessives he hears:"That's yours," "that's ours," "That's Mercers'" and so on. It took awhile for us to really hear him saying it; we couldn't figure out if he was just salivating or acting like a snake. We've been correcting him and then he replies with:
"That's mine...YEEESSSS."
