Mercer is visiting Grandpa this weekend and took advantage of the good weather to play at Island Beach State Park with Mom and Pop. We arrived before the crowds showed up, so Mercer had the whole ocean to himself for a good 40 minutes. The last time Mercer was at the beach was about a year ago so Mom and Pop weren't sure how it would go. Well, it was a success for the most part. Mercer loved the sand and running away from the waves. Most of all, Mercer liked sitting on Daddy's shoulders while the waves came crashing in against Daddy's legs. With each wave, Mercer would say "Crash!"Mercer got sand everywhere, but for a second beach experience, Mercer looked right at home.
